ACRO

In Acro classes, students get the best of both worlds by combining dance and gymnastics. These classes aim to improve strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, concentration, muscle control, and discipline. Dancers will not only learn acrobatic techniques but also explore how these techniques can be integrated into different dance forms.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT

Children’s creativity and imagination will flourish in this class. Creative Movement enhances social interaction and individual development skills. This class uses singing, games, floor patterns, and basic dance steps to develop motor skills and spatial awareness. Includes live percussion.

JAZZ

Historically, Jazz is rooted in the traditions of African dance and music. Jazz dance can be cool, funky and smooth. It stresses rhythm and coordination. The classes are energetic, up tempo and an excellent body conditioner.

Our students will learn traditional tap dances along with other classic steps. Tap develops rhythm with coordination and improvisational skills.

Cancellation Policy for recreational classes is as Follows:

Withdrawal notice must be given to the Program Director or front desk staff (NOT the Instructor) before the 4th class of the term you have registered for in order to qualify for a refund or credit. Refunds will not be given for registrations after the 4th week of class. Non-attendance in class does not constitute notification of withdrawal. Exceptions will be made for valid medical reasons.
