Halifax Dance has implemented a dress code for all classes that is body-positive, gender-free and inclusive of diverse skin tones. We believe it is important to find a balance between the structure and practices that have been put into place in the dance community for decades, and fostering an environment that is comfortable and encourages dancers to be themselves all at the same time!
