Diana Rutherford
Originally from Owen Sound, Ontario, Diana Rutherford’s dance journey began with both Ballet and Highland Dance. A former highland competitor, she represented Canada at the prestigious Cowal Highland Games in Scotland. Her passion and talent have since taken her across North America, performing in a wide range of productions and events.
Diana's dedication to the art of dance naturally led her to teaching. A graduate of Canada’s National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program and York University’s Dance program, she brings nearly two decades of experience to her students. Diana holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, along with advanced qualifications from leading international dance organizations: Licentiate status and Advance 2 with the Cecchetti Society of Canada, Advance 2 with the Royal Academy of Dance, and Associate ISTD National Branch.
Today, Diana is a committed and inspiring educator who blends technical precision with a love of performance, helping the next generation of dancers reach their full potential.
