Halifax Dance is dedicated to the development of dance and movement arts through education, performance and community development in an environment that values the diversity and potential of all individuals.
For almost four decades, Halifax Dance has been nationally recognized as a leader in dance education and development. Established as a not for profit society in 1973, Halifax Dance is an integral part of our region's artistic life: educating dancers of all ages, abilities and communities. Along with our core recreational programs for children, adults and teens, Halifax Dance offers a highly recognized pre-professional Intensive Training Program, professional classes, and Inclusive Movement programs for children and adults with special training needs.

The last day of classes in Term 1 is Monday December 19. The school will re-open for Term 2 on Tuesday January 3.
